Roger Dale Murphy, 68, of Florence, passed away February 23, 2013 at his residence. He was a machinist for Tennessee Valley Authority.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Malcolm Scott. Burial will follow in Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Murphy was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Murphy; brother, Jimmy Murphy; sister, Anita Murphy.
He is survived by his son, Charles Murphy (Alison); sister, Patricia Murphy; brother, David Murphy all of Florence; grandchildren, Lee, Summer, and Harlee Murphy, Brittany and Seth Lowery; great-great grandchildren, Payton Murphy, and Jaiclynn Lowery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
