Roger Clement Hoover, a lifelong resident of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014, in Birmingham, in the presence of his family. He was born September 12, 1947, to Joe and Avorine Hoover. He is survived by his three daughters, Leah Hoover of Owensboro, Kentucky, Allison Hoover Culwell of Birmingham married to Mike Culwell, and Courtney Andrews of Frisco, Texas married to Will Andrews; three sisters, Cindy Tapscott and Amy Frank of Decatur and Sara Hoover of Birmingham; seven granddaughters; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A private graveside service was held for the family on Saturday.
