Rodrick Rondell Jackson Sr. was born on Oct. 12, 1961, in Colbert County, Alabama. He was the middle child of John T. and Patricia Jackson. Rodrick was affectionately called “Rod” by his family and friends.
He was employed at Constellium (formerly Wise Alloys and Reynolds Aluminum) where he remained for 23 years.
Rod leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Debra Elaine Jackson; children, Rodrick Rondell Jackson Jr. (Jerrica), Breona Lashay Jackson Burgess (Aaron), and Jeremy Johnson, all of Florence, Alabama; parents, John T. and Patricia Jackson, Florence, Alabama; two sisters, Bridgett Jackson, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and Dr. Cassandra Jackson Ross (Reginald), of Lambertville, New Jersey; ten grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Jackson will be
1 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017, at
Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Florence, Alabama.
Reverend Dr. Laurentis Barnett is officiating.
Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Garden, Florence, Alabama.
The body will be placed in the church at .oon.
The public viewing will be today, noon-8 p.m.
Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence, is directing.
