Since that time the group has met weekly for the purpose of practicing as a chorus and performing songs in the uniquely American “barbershop style”. The Chorus consists of a group of dedicated men who are committed to enriching the lives of its members and of our community through wonderful a cappella harmonies sung in the barbershop style. We believe in musical excellence through preparation, and strive to achieve the highest level of quality through our performances. We meet every Tuesday night at 1st Baptist Church in Huntsville on Governor’s Drive go to the back side of the church, the time is 6:30 p.m. Rocket City Chorus is under the direction of Jean Reynolds. You can find out more about them at www.rocketcitychorus.org.

Southern Splendor Chorus serves the public through a true American “art” form of uplifting, wholesome a Capella music. This close knit four-part harmony not only enriches the lives of the men who sing, but the audiences who enjoy this “art” form worldwide. Southern Splendor Chorus is doing its part to build better communities by bonding people together with the pure fun of a Capella singing. Southern Splendor can be seen gracing stages throughout the Tennessee Valley in Athens, Ardmore, Madison, Decatur, Cullman, Huntsville and many others.
