Robin Wayne Stull, age 67, died Sunday, January 19th, 2025 at St Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Robin was born January 29th,1957 in Helena, Montana. He was the son of Willis Lamar Stull and Vonda Marie Stull (Jendro) of
Wibaux, Montana.
Robin had been ill for quite some time, and spent his last days with Patti and his cats; Boston and Sam. Robin was a proud Native American and an Assiniboine Lakota Sioux of the Fort Peck Tribe. He is survived by his spouse Patti, his blended family of 5 daughters; Christy, Sarah, Anna, Teddie and Gabriella and one son; Ronny. Robin also left behind 5 grandchildren and several nephews, nieces, and a sister DeAnn Brost.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Willis and Vonda Stull, sister Bonnie, and son Christopher.
Robin was a jack of all trades, and held many jobs over his lifetime, but the one he loved was the oil field.
Robin’s hard work ethics lead him to the oil patch as a young man. Starting in the mid 1970s, he spent 40 years working on drilling rigs, following the boom and bust cycle of the oilfield, like many of his compadres. Robin was front and center when work was available and took other jobs when the rigs were down. Over his oilfield career he worked all over the western United States from Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, and Texas making life long friends all along the way. Those friends will definitely miss the phone conversations that were much an anticipated weekly event.
