Roberta Smith 84, of Ardmore,AL died Sunday, April 30, 2017 at her home.
Born Sunday, September 18, 1932 in Madison County, AL, she was the daughter of Herman Reyer and Sally Bailes Reyer. She lived in the Ardmore area most all her life and she enjoyed Quilting, singing gospel music and gardening and when she was younger she enjoyed softball. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband John W. Billy Smith, and Daughter, Sherry Clark.
She is survived by her Sons, Jerry Eugene Smith, Ardmore, AL, Jackie Lynn Smith, Florence, AL, Billy Wayne Smith, Liberty, MS, Roger Dale Smith, West Palm Beach, FL, Brother, Jimmie Reyer, Ardmore, AL, 7 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 01, 2017 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 02, 2017 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 2:00 PM with Bro. Jerry Smith officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
