Roberta Compton, 64, of Glen, Mississippi, died Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Cornerstone Health and Rehab in Corinth. She enjoyed watching TV, reading, and sewing. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Wednesday, March 5 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Terry Booker. Interment will follow in Carpenter Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Grady Compton of Glen; 2 sons – William Carleton and David Compton, both of Burnsville; 1 daughter – Kim Mayhall (William) of Dover, Delaware; 1 brother – Bobby Kennedy (Pat) of Glen2 grandsons – Shelby and Eli Mayhall; and a granddaughter – Amalee Mayhall. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arland and Alma Kennedy; and her sister, Dorothy Austin.
