Robert Woodrow “Bobby” Clouse, Jr., 75, died on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at his home in Wetumpka, AL surrounded by his family. After a 12 year battle with Parkinson’s disease, our sovereign Lord ended Bobby’s suffering and called him home.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Mt. Joy Cemetery. Rev. Ernie Price will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his Father-Robert Woodrow Clouse, Sr.; Mother-Mary Clouse; Sisters-Juanita Clouse and Rebecca Smith.
He leaves behind his Wife of 52 years-Carolyn Martin Clouse; Sons-Robert Jeffrey Clouse (Melanie) and Scott Clouse (JoLynn); Daughter-Angie Miller (Jay); 11 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; Sister-Carol Davis (Charlie).
He was a retired officer in the United States Navy serving his country for 23 years. Upon his retirement from the U.S. Navy, Bobby worked another 23 years at the Southern Company before retiring in 2010.
While we will dearly miss our Husband, Father, Papa and brother, let us rejoice that we shall be reunited one day in the arms of the Lord.
