Robert William Adams lost his battle with cancer on September 18, 2023 at the age of 69. He fought a brave fight. His suffering is over and is now home with the Lord. He was born and grew up in Springfield, Massachusetts. He retired from the U.S. Army. He was a Vietnam and Gulf War Veteran. He served in Korea for a long time.
Graveside Services will be held 12:30 EST, Friday, September 22, 2023 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patty Adams; daughter, Serena Adams; and beloved grandson, Collin Stewart; and sister, Eva Blais (Norman).
He was preceded in death by his parents, George, Sr. & Eleanor Adams; and brothers, George and Charlie Adams.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
