Robert “Wayne” Wood, age 63 of Nauvoo, passed away on Thursday, March 9,2023 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11,2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Fayette County. Lynell Early and Scott Stewart will officiate.
Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his Parents-Robert Eugene Wood and Blanche Elizabeth Wood; Brother-Doug Smith.
He is survived by his Wife-Anita Wood; Daughter-Heather Wood Lawson(Scott Lay); Son-Harlon Wood(Rachel); Other Children-Chase Sargent Blake Johnson; Brother-Jim Wood; Grandchildren-Natalie Welch, Lauren Welch, McKenna Wood, Jackson Wood, Emberlee Wood, Andrew Tate, Jacob Brinson.
Pallbearers will be W.R. Crain, Junior Bridgemon, Mike Wilkerson, Mikey Johnson, Terry Derek, David Martin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jamie Clark, Donnie Pruitt, Rodney Eaton, Dexter Dozier.
