Robert Wayne Butler age 69, of Florence, passed away Friday, August 29, 2014. Visitation will be Sunday, August 31, from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm at Church of Christ at Macedonia. The service will follow at 3:00 pm in the church with Brother Arvy Dupuy officiating. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Park. He was a retired pipefitter with Young Pittman and a member of the Church of Christ at Macedonia. Preceded him in death were his parents, John and Lillie Butler; daughter, Shelane Wright; sister, Barbara Forbus; brothers, Jim Butler, J.W. Butler, and Roy Butler. Survivors include his wife, Martha Jane Butler; children, Lisa Andrews (Stacey), Terri Earles, Penny Renollet, Wendy Orr (Sanchez), and Michael Wright; sisters, Audrey “Sis” Butler, and Debbie Swinea (Ellis). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
