Robert Taylor, age 72, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at NMMC-Gilmore in Amory, MS. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 12:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery. Bro. Edwin Brewer and Bro. Ricky Kendrick to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
Robert was born on January 31, 1952 in Beaverton, AL to the late Samuel “Sam” Elijah Taylor and the late Cora Miller Taylor. He attended Sulligent High School and always loved and supported his “Blue Devils”. Robert retired from BNSF after 29 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was very well known for his avid love of Alabama Crimson Tide Football and his family, which he adored. Robert was a member of Life Church in Beaverton, AL. His loving memory will always be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
