Robert Stanley Hammond, age 92, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at his residence. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, owner of South Tennessee Produce, and a member of the VFW and Ethridge Church of Christ. Mr. Hammond served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Mason “Bud” and Ona Minnie Phillips Hammond; his wife, Goldie Marie Goodwin Hammond; nine brothers, Paul, Herman, Lawrence, Carson, Floyd, Clyde, Horace, Turner, and Noah Hammond; and one sister, Missouri Ann Hammond.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, July 22, 2013, with Doug Osborn and David Stofel officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to the Hospice Compassus in Lawrenceburg, TN.
