Robert McGough, age 77 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away December 27, 2023. He is retired a Blaster in the Road Construction Industry, retired from United States Army National Guard and was of the Baptist faith.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 31, 2023 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Mountain Home Cemetery in Bear Creek, AL.
Mr. McGough is survived by his children, Robin (Todd) Young and Michelle (Heath) Garrison; brother, Dale (Linda) McGough; sisters, Ruth Courington and June Cook; sister in law, Judy McGough; son in law, Randy Self; grandchildren, Brenden Ryon (Emilee) Campbell, Hayden Garrison, Chelsea (Levi) Setliff, Samantha (Justin) Padbury, Ciana McCarley, Anna McCarley, Erica Young and Max Young; great grandchildren, Erin Cambell, Hadlee Setliff, Hallie Young, Hayes Setliff, Nella Beaty, Ellis McCarley, Araea Jones, Asher Garrison, Timber Spann and Jett Padbury; special grands, Lillian Orgeron, Maddie Orgeron, Sam Self and Nic Self; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Sarah McGough; daughter, Sarah Self; sons, Roger and Kip McGough; brothers, W.O. Dodd and Roger McGough; sisters, Bernice Rowell and Jean Green; nephews, David Scott Courington and Ricky Dale McGough.
