Robert Leon Borden, age 72, of Town Creek, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born on February 5, 1954, to Chester and Maddie Borden. He had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger. Robert had a lifelong love of music and could often be found singing or playing one of his instruments. He enjoyed entertaining others with his musical talents and brought joy to everyone around him. His kind heart, warm smile, and love for people will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Visitation will be Sunday July 12, 2026 at Moulton Heritage Funeral Home at 11:30am until 12:30 p.m. with services to follow. Graveside service will be at Cave Springs in Town Creek, Al. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Borden; his sons, Tracy Borden and Jessie (Neda) Borden; his daughter, Michelle Borden Smith; his grandchildren, Casey Borden, Riley, Emily, and Taryn; five great-grandchildren; his mother, Maddie Borden; and his sisters, Martha (Ron) Hamilton and Janice (Jimmy) Wood. He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Borden; his brothers, Bruce Borden and Randall Borden; and his sister, Annette Borden.
