Robert Lee Cagle, Jr., 68, of Addison passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on December 30, 1945 in Miami, Florida. He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church #2 for 33 years. Mr. Cagle attended South Broward High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl and after high school served his country in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. He went on to work for Atlantic Cold Storage until he was injured and became disabled on the job. He enjoyed Dolphins Football, hunting in his younger years and spending time with his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 6-8pm at Sardis Baptist Church #2 in Addison, where services will be held on Thursday at 2pm. Brother Mackey Watts and Brother Jerry Baker will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Bonnie Cagle; son, Robert Lee Cagle III and his wife Tracy; daughter, Cindy Cagle Cowart and her husband Stephen; brothers JD Cagle and his wife Rosemary and Aubrey Cagle and his wife Carol; sisters, Linnie Maples, Jessie Steele and Maudie Maples; he was Paw Paw to 5 grandchildren, Matthew Cagle, Andrew Cowart, Kassidy Fricks, Zachary Fricks and McKinley Cagle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Lillie Mae Cagle; and an infant son, Ronald Lee Cagle.
