Robert Lee Atkinson, age 91, passed away Aug. 7, 2016. A graveside service will be held today at 10 a.m. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Atkinson was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during World War II. He was the owner/pharmacist of The Prescription Shop in Sheffield and was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church.
Mr. Atkinson was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie Young Atkinson, and a daughter, Barbara Gray.
He is survived by his daughter, Donna Lee Moore; grandchildren, Stacey Bevis, Christie Bevis, and Debra Carter; special niece, Ann Robertson; brother-in-law, A. D. Young; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Robertson.
Pallbearers will be Michael Ruiz, Joe Thomas, and Greg Parbery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
