Robert Landy Raley Robert Landy Raley, 68, of Rogersville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, at his residence. Born on September 5th, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, Landy was the son of Harold Cecil Raley and Joyce Adams Raley.

Landy leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Marsha McKay Raley. He is also survived by his children, Lindsey Raley Walton and her husband Todd, and Collier McKay Raley and his wife Jessica. His mother, Joyce Raley, survives him as well. His sisters, Phyllis Murphy (Darrell) and Susan Gregg (Dwan), will hold his memory dear. Landy ‘s grandchildren, Baker Raley, Haylie Walton, Everett Raley, Lily Walton, Iyla Raley, Luke Walton, and Ensley Raley, were the light of his life.

Landy was preceded in death by his father, Harold Cecil Raley.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Monday, September 8th, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:45 pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, officiated by Dan Binkley. Serving as pallbearers will be Todd Walton, Brian Blakely, Terry Persell, Brandon Gregg, Josh Tucker, Baker Raley, Luke Walton, and Everett Raley. Honorary pallbearers include Mark Blakely, Nathan Brackeen, Danny Cook, Lavaughn Davis, Wayne Kuykendall and Marcus Romine.

Landy shared a beautiful marriage with Marsha, marked by love and companionship. A dedicated member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, he previously attended Marion Street Church of Christ, where he built lasting friendships. Landy was dedicated to serving the community he loved as an attorney for over 40 years. He was a passionate supporter of Alabama football and Athens Bible School and never missed an opportunity to attend and support his grandchildren’s activities. His grandchildren were truly his pride and joy.

In honor of Landy’s generous spirit, the family requests that donations be made to Athens Bible School or Hospice of North Alabama instead of flowers.

Landy Raley’s presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
