Robert L. Hans, age 70 of Cherokee, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017. His visitation will be Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Tommy West officiating. Burial will be in Barton Cemetery.
Robert was born in Fort Wayne , Indiana on April 2nd, 1947. He was a soldier in the United States Army and a member of the DAV in Sheffield. He served in Vietnam, Desert Storm and Afghanistan. Robert was a member of Barton First Baptist church.. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norbert and Birdiana Hans.
Robert is survived by his wife, Virginia Hans of Cherokee, son, Caleb Ian Hans, daughters, Tina Dsouza and Sharron Gibbons, stepdaughter, Heather McGill, brother, Herman Hans, and numerous grandchildren.
Friends and Family will serve as Pallbearers.
