Robert L. Beckman, 79, passed away February 26, 2013. Bob owned and operated Beckman Hearing Aids in Florence. He was instrumental in locating the building to house St. Vincent de Paul. He also supported St. Joseph School Foundation and uniforms for the sport teams in the 1990’s.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Mass beginning at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Andrew Sullivan.
Bob is survived by his wife, Mary Anne Beckman; sons, Michael and wife Deborah, and John; step-children, Kurtis and Kevin Osburn, and Karla Morgan; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill, Tom, Leo, Tony, Raphael; sisters, Evelyn Gentry, and Bernadette Ramsey.
The family requests, for those who wish memorials be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Joseph School Foundation, or your favorite charity.
