Mr. Robert “Junior” Davidson, age 67 of Ashland, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at his home. A memorial service may be planned at a later date.
Mr. Davidson was born at Ft. Rucker in Alabama and spent most of his life between Randolph and Clay County for most of his life. He worked multiple jobs, but primarily worked at Jeldwen for over 25 years as a forklift operator. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, Auburn Football, and was an avid Nascar fan. He was also a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Mr. Davidson is survived by his wife, Virginia Davidson of Ashland; three daughters: Mitzi Davidson of Five Points, Amanda Rice (Fiance Wayne Tyner) and Shiann Woodard, both of Ashland; one son, Craig Davidson (Mitsy) of Woodland; nine grandchildren; two sisters: Shelby Jean Hardy (Randy) of Griffin, GA and Shirley Ann Davidson of Bowden, GA; three brothers: Bruce Davidson (Brenda) of Wadley, Terry Davidson (Kae) and Johnny Ray Davidson, both of Roanoke; plus several nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Robert Ford Davidson Sr. and Barbara Jean Koberg Davidson, and one brother, Roger Dale Davidson.
