Robert Johaun Funk, 26, passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016, at Huntsville Hospital.
He was employed with BBVA Compass Bank. He is survived by his parents, Marquita Chapman and Myron Dean Funk; his grandmother, Peggy Chapman; brothers, David Funk and Stephen Funk (Ella Jean); sisters, Anisa Threadgill (Eric), Star Carter (Clay), Kristan Johnson (Jason), Ruth Minor (Jim), Elizabeth Gilliam, Esther Funk, and Anna Harris; three nephews; one niece; two aunts; two uncles; and three cousins.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Hartselle Heritage with Pastor Brad Sheats officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Willmouth, Clay Carter, Eric Threadgill, Jason Johnson, Joey Smith, and David Funk. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
