Robert Joel Hamner, age 54, passed away peacefully at his home on March 20, 2013.
He was born in Lauderdale County to Troy and Ruby Hamner of Killen, AL.
He is survived by his parents; three children- Kelly Whitlock of Murfreesboro, TN, Abigail Chrismer of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Evan Hamner of Killen, AL; brothers Phillip Hamner of Franklin, TN and Scott Hamner of Killen, AL; sister Amanda Hamner of Gainsville, GA; and grandchildren Blake and Sloane Whitlock of Murfreesboro, TN.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation in memory of Joel.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the professional help, community support and extended family support during this difficult time.
