Robert Handley, Jr., age 87, of Dora, AL passed away August 31, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lummie Handley; siblings, Lela Smith, Norman Handley, Geneva Reaid, Pearl Thompson, Edna Blackwood and 1 great-grandchild. Robert is survived by his wife of 66 years, Barbara Handley; children, Eddie Handley, Wesley Handley, Shelia Nasiatka, Bino Handley, Russell Handley; siblings, Sarah Snider, Roger Handley, Joe Handley and Tony Handley, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He enjoyed watching Chicago White Sox baseball and The University of Alabama and Chicago Bears football. Robert loved Southern Gospel music, woodworking, yardwork, card games and playing pool. Services for Robert will be private. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Bethel Baptist Church of Dora, AL building fund.
