Robert Glenn Middleton, age 77, of Cornersville, Tennessee, passed way Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at his home with his family by his side.

He was born December 17, 1947, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late James Middleton and Dorlene Luna Middleton Sargent. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Burner Systems, Inc. in Lewisburg. Bob proudly served in the United States Army and served in Vietnam. During his military service he was a chef which came in handy in his later life as he was a great chef for his family. He was known as a “jack-of-all trades” for his ability to make or fix most anything. He loved a good joke and was famous for being a big joke teller. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and showing others his knife collection.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Dola Ring, two twin granddaughters, and a daughter-in-law Paula Middleton.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Judy Wood Middleton; three sons, Patrick Middleton (Leslie) of St. Martinsville, LA, Jamie Middleton of Cornersville, and Waylon Middleton (Manda) of Kaplan, LA; four grandsons, Justin Middleton, Trent Resweber, Kyle Middleton, and Jonathan Middleton; granddaughter Jessica Middleton; three great grandchildren, Nolan Helms, T. Middleton, and Zander Middleton; three sisters, Donna Perryman of Chapel Hill, Judy Horton of Cornersville, and Brenda Brewer of Winchester; brother Marty Middleton of Lewisburg.

Graveside Service will be conducted on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Lone Oak Cemetery.
