Robert Forgie, 81, previously of Huntsville and Trinity, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 23, 2013. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 29, 1931 to the late William and Mildred Forgie. Robert earned his bachelor’s degree from Fenn College (Cleveland State) and his master’s degree from Kent State. He was employed as a quality control engineer for many years and was a consultant for the last 20 years. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, the Akron-Canton Quality Control Society, and was a Fellow in the American Quality Control Society. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Patricia Forgie; daughter, Susan Gunter; and four grandsons.
A memorial graveside service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur.
