Robert F. “Buddy” Walker, 84, of Muscle Shoals passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 26th from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The burial will be at Shaw Cemetery.
Buddy was a native of Colbert County and a member of Ford City Baptist Church. He was a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the local labor local.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank L. and Roxie Walker; and sisters, Barbara Walker and Shirley Cummings.
Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Helen D. Walker; sons, Mike Walker (Tina) and Ron Walker (Trisha); daughter, Donna Walker (Danielle); brothers, Jerry and Jackie Walker; sisters, Beverly Woodis, Cora Lofton, and Kay Derrick; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Allan Walker, Seth Crews, Mike Randall, Bobby Collier, Adamm Walker, Rusty Boatwright, and Jacob Walker.
