A graveside funeral service for Robert Eugene “Gene” Pennington age 75 of Chicago Ridge, Illinois will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Johnson Grove Cemetery. Brother Johnny Jones officiating, Hanceville Funeral Home directing.
The native of Cullman County passed away on October 23rd in Chicago Ridge. He was preceded in death by his wife Wenonna; parents, Elbert and Lilly Berry Pennington and children, Troy, Gary, Aaron, Harlon and Brandy.
He is survived by children; Crystal (John) Posey, Catrina Harris, Shonya (Eddie Ray) Hill, Kathy Wagnon, Teresa (Keith) Manies, Doug (Melondie) Farr, Billy (Charlotte) Farr and Charles (Shirley) Farr. Also brothers, Eddie And Tim Pennington as weel as a host of grand, great grand and great greatgrandchildren.
