Funeral service for Mr. Robert Elijah Steele of Athens, Alabama will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Round Island Mission Center in Athens, Alabama with Pastor Charles Simmons as officiant and Eulogist. The body will lie in state at the center one hour before funeral time. Interment and committal will be at the Sowell cemetery in Tanner, Alabama.
Public viewing will be at Peoples’ Funeral Home on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 12:00 until 7:00 p.m.
