Robert Edward Johnson, 82, passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015. He retired with 20 years of service from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant and worked 22 years as a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. He was born and raised in Loretto, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Edna Johnson; brother: Carson Johnson and sister: Mary Bassham. Robert is survived by his wife of 61 years: Marjorie Johnson; his son: Mark Johnson and cousins, nieces and nephews. He enjoyed square dancing in the Shindiggers and Merry Mixers clubs. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Chapel service at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. James Harrell officiating. Burial will follow in Faith Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 117-A Longwood Drive SE, Huntsville, AL 35801.
