Robert Earl Crowson, 83, of Huntsville, passed away Monday. Mr. Crowson graduated from Madison County High School in 1949, and served his country in the Army from 1953 to 1955. He worked at Mallory, Meadow Gold, and finally retired from Double Cola Bottling Company. He was married to Peggy Tate Crowson since 1956.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Tate Crowson; children, LeAnn C. Richard (Greg) and Jeffrey S. Crowson, both of Huntsville; grandchildren, Gillian Richard of Tuscaloosa, Jackson Richard and Evan G. Crowson, both of Huntsville; sister, Mary C. Adams of Prattville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel with Gary Heard officiating. Burial will be in Old Shiloh Cemetery.
