Robert Earl Burbank, age 72 of Florence, Ala. passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 at his residence after a brief illness. Mr. Burbank was a native of Lauderdale County, Ala. He served in the Army Reserve for 22 years, was a fork lift operator for Nichols Wire, and he was a Christian. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Loretto Memorial Chapel. Bro. Dillion will be officiating. Burial will follow in Richardson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, April 14 at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Rosa Viola Springer Burbank; 3 brothers, Frank and James Burbank and Herman Wright; 1 daughter, Kristie Burbank; and 1 grandson, Kyle Sizemore.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Burbank, Florence, Ala.; son, Toby Burbank; daughter, Kathy Burbank, Florence, Ala.; stepson, Marty Fraley, Florence, Ala.; brothers, Bobby W. Burbank and wife Marie, both of Greenhill, Ala., Charles E. Burbank and wife Marty, both of Silver Lake, Ind., Douglas Burbank and wife Faye, both of Greenhill, Ala., and Jimmy Burbank and wife Margie, both of Florence, Ala.; sister, Cora E. Fetro, Kendaleville, Ind.; 5 Grandchildren; 4 Step Grandchildren; and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Loretto Memorial Chapel, Inc. is in charge of all the arrangements.
