Robert E. Johnson, age 85 of Athens, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Athens Health and Rehab. Mr. Johnson was born November 15, 1933 in Piedmont, AL to Paul Johnson and Mozelle Pike.
Services for Mr. Johnson will be held Monday, March 18, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. with Bill Irby officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Savage Johnson; daughter, Christa Young (Randy); sons, Russell Robert Johnson (Amanda) and Alan Johnson (Celia); grandchildren, Drew Young, Clay Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Trent Johnson and Davis Robert Johnson; great grandchildren, Kirsten Clemons, Hailey Clemons, Mara Johnson, Gideon Robert Johnson and Teegan Young.
Pallbearers are Drew Young, Clay Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Trent Johnson, Davis Robert Johnson and Cliff Smith.
