Robert Dwight Griffin, of Athens, AL; passed away Wednesday August 20,2025 at Athens Limestone Hospital.
He was born October 21,1959 in Limestone County, AL to Robert Earl Griffin and Wilma Blackwell Griffin.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Keith Griffin.
He was a retired maintenance man. He always loved working with his hands. If not watching westerns, he could frequently be found enjoying the outdoors or relaxing with his cats.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Tammy Griffin of 29 years; two sons Robert Griffin (Laura), Adam McGraw (Janie), one daughter Tabitha Patterson (Marcus), five grandchildren Preston, Willow, Waylan, Boyd, and Marky.
The Visitation will be Sunday, August 24 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service will be Monday August 25, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. with Brother Terry Lamar officiating, at McConnell Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
