Robert Dennis Fulmer, age 80, of Florence, passed away April 9, 2023 at his residence after an extended illness. He was a member of the Local #320 Operators Engineers Union; president and founder of Cloverdale Bridle and Saddle Club and a member of Fox Hunters Club.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 11-1 p.m. at Pine Hill Church of Christ. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. at the church with David Highland officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Church of Christ Cemetery.
Mr. Fulmer was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney John “SJ” and Mary Volin Fulmer; sisters, Baby Jean Fulmer and Joan Fulmer Clingan.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Mundy Fulmer; son, John Fulmer (Nikki); daughters, Pam Fulmer, Robbie Williams (Nathan), Beth Henry (Russ), Deborah Anderson, Cherie Kitchens (Joey), and Rene Monfort; Melissa Bates, and Angela Stevens (Colin); sisters, Joyce Morris (Sammy), Judy Clemons (Terry), and Janet Gean (Dale); 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dustin O’Bryant, Lucas O’Bryant, Corey Pounders, Dalton Fulmer, Colton Fulmer, and Carson Fulmer.
Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Williams, Faron Faires, Gary Faires, and Joey Kitchens.
