Robert Darrel Greeson, age 59 of the Adamsburg community, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at his residence. He was born on August 19, 1966 in Fort Payne to the Coy Elbert & Shirley Greeson. He spent many years employed at Brandon Hosiery and the Black’s Tires before becoming a self-employed truck driver. He was a member of the United Cherokee Ani-Yun-Wiya Nation and a volunteer firefighter with the Adamsburg Volunteer Fire Department.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Adamsburg Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
He is survived by his daughters & sons-in-law, Jessica & Blake Medley and Carissa & Ben Smith; mother, Shirley Greeson; grandchildren, Jordan Medley, Savannah Medley and Jamison Smith; brother-in-law, James Moss; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Coy Elbert Greeson, Jr.; and sister, Anita Moss.
