Funeral service for Robert Daniel “Robby” Drane, age 38, of Decatur will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with C. W. Turner officiating. Mr. Drane passed away on August 7, 2025, at home. He was born September 3, 1986. Robert was a loving husband, son, brother, and father. He was someone who put everyone before himself and would help anyone who needed it. He was a member of Mount View Baptist Church, and Local 760, Steamfitters and Plumbers Union.
Robert is survived by his wife, Chelsey Drane; daughters, Scarlett Danielle Drane and Blakely Reagan Drane; parents, Bobby Drane (Sharon) and Susie Minor (Jay); brother, Tyler Drane; sisters, Whitney Drane Crunk (Jason) and Emily Drane; nephews, Aidan Crunk and Griffin Holt (Ashley); nieces, Kyraya Echols and and Gracelyn Long; and a host of cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Preston Hughes, Kyle Hughes, Daniel Gladden, Johnathan Gladden, Aidan Crunk, Jason Crunk, and Kenneth Hughes.
