Funeral service for Robert Dale “Bobby” Kent, 72, will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Somerville Church of God with Bro. Michael Gunter and Rev. James Wray officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Somerville Church of God Cemetery. His body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Kent died on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at his residence. He was born June 27, 1945, in Morgan County to Loyd Clyde Kent and Myrtice Prater Kent. He was a machine operator for Valley Products and did small engine lawn mower repairs in his spare time. He was a member of the Somerville Church of God. His favorite pass-time was spending time with his grandchildren and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents.
