Robert D. Maxwell, 68, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born in Waukegan, IL to Bobby Maxwell and Dorothy Thompson Maxwell and worked as a superintendant at Jesco.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS assisted the family.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Gasaway Maxwell; daughter, Christy Shotts (Rocky) and Kim George (Ben); step-daughter, Debbie Garrison; brother, Wayne Maxwell (Connie); six grandchildren, Kylie Shotts, Bo Shotts, Letasha Horn, T.J. Hardin, Michael Lambert and Jeffery Lambert and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sandra Leathers and step-daughter, Sandy Lambert.
