Robert Clemons “Bob” Hornbuckle, Jr. 76, resident of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, formally from Huntsville, Alabama passed away at Crestwood Hospital, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents Reverend Robert C. and Flossie Hornbuckle, a sister Fay Hornbuckle, two brothers, Billy and Howard Hornbuckle.
He is survived by his wife Shirley “Kathy” Hornbuckle, son Steve Hornbuckle (Donna) of New Market, Alabama, daughter Carla Helm (Ronnie) of Cecilia, Kentucky, one sister Mildred Hill (Jimmy); four grandchildren, Ashley Hornbuckle of Hazel Green, Alabama, Chelsey Hornbuckle of New Market, Alabama and Garrett Helm and Shelby Helm of Cecilia, Kentucky, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and friends. He was very much loved by all his family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral will be Wednesday at 10:00 am at Berryhill Funeral Home with Reverend Dillard Laney officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
