Robert Clayton Clemons was born June 6,1985, to Dick and Laura Clemons. At 28 years old, he was taken home after fighting a year long battle to cancer. Clayton was a true inspiration to this community. He was a best friend to anyone he met. Clayton never missed an opportunity to hunt, golf, BBQ, or spend time with those he loved, even if it meant dragging around his oxygen tank! He dedicated himself to anyone in need. He has been a blessing to us all.
He is survived by his fiancée’ Rebecca Stephenson; his parents, Dick and Laura Clemons; his siblings and their spouses, Patrick and Alyson Clemons, Ashton and Jimmy Davis and Travis Clemons and his finacee’ Whitney Fulmer; his nieces and nephew, whom he loved so dearly, Savanah, Payton, and Isaiah Clemons and Kylee and Kate Davis; his grandparents, Robert Wayne and Virgina Clemons and Malcom and Juanita Crowder.
Visitation will be this evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at Danville Baptist Church. The memorial service will take place Sunday, March 23,2014, at Danville Baptist at 2 p.m. Graveside to follow at Johnson Cemetery in Speake.
The pallbearers will be Brandon Hitt, Heath Alford, Whit McCurly, Chase Keel, Chance Higdon, Allen Stephenson, and Brian Ellis.
Clayton was an incredible man that has touched so many lives. He will be missed tremendously, especially by his precious dog, Pearl.
