Robert Charles Winston, age 69 of Tuscumbia, AL departed his earthly life on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 12:14 p.m. at the Cottage of the Shoals in Tuscumbia, AL. He was born May 11, 1952 in Sheffield, AL.
He was baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of his sins at the Healing Fountain Apostolic
Faith Church, Sheffield, AL.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma B. Stanback; adopted parents, Joe & Annie Winston; stepmother, Lillie Winston and brother, Michael Winston.
He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Rodney Charles Winston of Sheffield, AL, and Taurean Horton of Florene, AL; one daughter, Roxanne Winston of Tuscumbia, AL; six grandchildren, Roddrecuz Carlos, Raylan Curon and Cashious James Winston, Darrin Meade Jr., Carter Horton and Peyton Breanna Acklin; one great-grandson, Kayden Ni’micre Johnson; brothers, William L. Stanback and Ronald (Helen) Stanback of Saginaw, MI; sisters, Mary Winston and Jenie Taylor of Saginaw, MI, and Lucille (Tyrone) Ingram of Florence, AL; a special friend, Fred Howard Bates; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
