Robert “Carl” Meadows

Age 81 of White House went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 16, 2022 at his home. He was born February 17, 1940 in White House, TN to the late Herman Lynn & Ruby Ethel Jones Meadows. He was retired as the Millersville Chief of Police and proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Cherry Mound Masonic Lodge #227, the VFW, American Legion Post #206, the DAV and the Al Menah Shrine. Mr. Meadows was a member of Madison Creek Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was a devoted Christian. He is preceded i death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Clark Meadows; daughter, Tammy Gaye (Mike) Hammer, both of White House, TN; son, Robert Anthony Meadows, Portland, TN; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral service is scheduled for 1pm Thursday in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Pastor Bob Cook officiating. Interment will follow in White House Memorial Gardens with military honors and with Mike Clark, Brian Clark, Michael Hammer, Corey Baker, Justin Cristos and Tony Meadows serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be held from 11AM until the hour of the service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted at the funeral home prior to the service.
