Robert was born in Pulaski on July 21, 1935 to Jot and Sally Mae Angus West. Robert worked for the City of Pulaski until he retired. He found enjoyment in watching wrestling, old westerns, specifically Gunsmoke and Wagon Train, and loved listening to Elvis. Robert is preceded in death by his parents; wife Delya West; son Carl West; brothers Edward “Jam Up” West, James “Cotton” West; sisters Mary Lou Helton, Sally Will Tate, Jewel Bowers, Rose Luttrell, and Judy West; stepson Ted Brown; stepdaughter SandraToone.
Visitation will be 1-3pm on Friday February 7, 2025 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with the Funeral Services following at 3pm. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Robert is survived by his son Tracy West of Pulaski; stepson Jimmy Brown of Alabama; stepdaughter Pricilla Bell of Alabama; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
