Robert Bozeman, 78, of Cherokee, passed away on March 12, 2014. Visitation will be Saturday at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee, 2-4 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Scott Livingston and Bro. Steve Slaton officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memorial Park.
Robert was a native of Colbert County and longtime resident of Cherokee. He was a devoted Christian and a member of First Baptist Church of Cherokee. He was a retired Master Sergeant with over 22 years of military service. He was a member of Electricians Local 558 and retired as an Instrument Mechanic from Reynold’s Alloys.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Hall Bozeman; parents, Hollin and Stella Haygood Bozeman; brother, Baxter Bozeman; sisters, Wynona Malone and Nancy Singleton; and grandson, Blake Bozeman.
Robert is survived by his wife, Diane Bozeman of Cherokee; sons, Steven Bozeman, of Tuscumbia, Bradley Bozeman (Dealona), of Cherokee, and Brian Bozeman, of Cherokee; daughters, Angie Woodis, of Tuscumbia, Lori Mitchell (Mark), of Decatur, and Leigh Donaldson (Michael Wayne), of Tuscumbia; step-daughters, Kelli Chrisman and Kristi Phillips (Rusty), both of Muscle Shoals; brother-in-law, Mike Grasham of Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Alexa Bozeman Wallace (Malcolm) of Athens, AL; grandchildren, Zach and Carly Woodis, Sydney Southern, Marley, Anna Leigh, and Jake Mitchell, Harley Hill, Abbey and Kayley Donaldson, Garrett, Riley, Bodie Bozeman and Tanner Bozeman; great grandchildren, Olivia Boston, Audrey Southern, Gunner and Case Woodis and Ava Wilbanks; step grandchildren, Lauren Risner, Chase Kent and Hayden Chrisman.
