Funeral service for Pastor Robert “Bobby” Smith, 62, will be Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Journey Church in Eva, Alabama with Rev. Joey Coots and Rev. Gary Driver officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Eva Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Church.
Mr. Smith died on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born January 20, 1952, in Morgan County to Hulit Leslie Smith and Bonnie Faye Knighten Self. Pastoring for 33 years, he served Pines Baptist Church, Resurrection Baptist Church and Ridgecrest Community Church, where he was the current pastor. He and his wife, Patricia, worked as missionaries in Mexico and Central America for 6 years. He was Owner and Operator of Bobby’s Fisherman’s Catch in Eva, AL for 27 Years. He was preceded in death by his father,: Hulit “Buddy” Smith.

Deborah Gray (Donald), New Hope , AL and
Arlita Pennington (Eugene), New Hope, AL
Nine Grandchildren:
Benjamin, Chrissi, Chloe, Malachi, Payton, Zeb, Olivia, Riley and Connor.
He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, step-brothers and step- sisters and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Nephews.
