 Robert “Bob” Black, age 92, of Sulligent, AL passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Generations of Vernon Nursing Home in Vernon, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 11:00am from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Guin City Cemetery in Guin, AL.  Bro. Edward Puckett and Bro. Scott Stanford to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 10:00am until 11:00am.

 

In lieu of flowers for the family, please give flowers to shut-ins and loved ones or make a donation to a charity of your choice.

 

Bob was born on September 1, 1927 in Beaverton, AL to the late James William Black and the late Florence Weeks Black.  He served in the U.S. Army and also the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

James Keith Black, Tuscaloosa, AL and Sulligent, AL

Nephews: Russell Guy Black (Marcia), Blue Ridge, GA

Jimmie Wayne Dalton (Gwyneth), Huntsville, AL

Nieces: Brenda Joy Spruiell Doss (Bill), Jasper, AL

Donna Kay Dalton ScelsWife: Edith Dalton Black

Brothers: James Ralph Black, Guy Henry Black (Sara Jane), and Rex W. Black

Sister: Jonnie Mae Black Wood (Harold)
