Robert “Bear” Walden, 79, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. He was born in Tishomingo County, MS to Grady Walden and Maurine Posey Walden, who preceded him in death. He was an Army veteran and a truck driver for many years.
There will be a memorial service Friday, August 12, 6 p.m. at 1959 MS 25, in Midway, MS. All family and friends are welcome to come and share your memories. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS assisted the family.
He is survived by his two daughters – Tracie Baker of Tishomingo, MS and Niki Garza and Lupe Garza of Mabank, TX; granddaughters – Tiffany Gilley, Ali Baker and Jaci Belcher; a great-grandson – Korbyn Payne, many uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends who looked over him to make sure he was always doing okay.
