Robert Arthur “Bob” Guillebeau, 88, of Albertville died August 23, 2019. He was born in Augusta Ga, the son of Otis Polk & Rebecca Guillebeau. He was educated at the Citadel in Charleston, SC. He is survived by his special friend; Bobbie Young, his son; Mike Guillebeau (Lynn), daughter; Cathy Parker, 4 granddaughters, 2 great-grandsons. Mr. Guillebeau was employed by Mitchell Grocery for 17 years as an accountant. Bob was a member of Albertville First Baptist Church and remained active with two local bridge clubs. He enjoyed writing poetry, was a competitive tennis player for many years and enjoyed leading people to the Lord. He stated that one of his greatest accomplishments was reading the Bible through 11 times. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 11:00 am at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Joey Cannady and the Rev. Chris Johnson officiating. “ Say not in grief, “He is no more” but live in thankfulness that he was.
