Robert  Allen Beasley Robert Allen Beasley, 88, of Athens, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Limestone Health Facility. He was born on June 19, 1931 in Lester.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 3rd at 1pm at Limestone Chapel followed by services at 2:30 pm with David Cox officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Beasley is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mauveline, two sons: Brad Beasley (Monica) Brian Beasley (Heather). He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Ashley Beasley, Addison Beasley, and Mason Beasley.
He’s preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Willie Beasley; three brothers, Thomas Elbert Beasley, Paul Beasley, James Beasley; and two sisters, Jalena Birch, Cleo Huber.
Robert is a Korean War Veteran and a lifelong resident of Limestone County. He was a member of Market Street Church of Christ. He retired from South Central Bell in 1985 after 25 years of service as a lineman.
Pallbearers will be John Carter, Gil Smith, Jason Camp, John Rutland, Tommy Coblentz, and John Stewart.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Turner and Johnny Marks.
